All candidates are also expected to have read the notes for candidates.

ICAO LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
ICAO Doc 9835 states that all airline and helicopter pilots, air traffic controllers
and aeronautical station operators must have a minimum level of English; level 4 is considered
the minimum operational level. Afan courses are focused on: pronunciation, structure,
vocabulary, fluency, comprehension and interaction.
